ANIMALS IMPOUNDED |
The City of Meade cat shelter is up and running. We also have a dog shelter. Should your pet become lost and picked up by the City of Meade Animal Control Officer, it will be taken to the shelter. At that time, we will post a picture on the web of the stray animal. To claim, please come by the City office at 132 S. Fowler or call (620) 873-2091, fees will apply, per Ordinance #816. |

Upon release of the stray pet, the owner must show proof of current rabies immunization. Payment is due before the animal will be released. |
